I’ve been working in journalism for nearly 20 years, during which time I have held senior editorial positions at and contributed to a number of business and technology-related publications.

I specialise in banking and retail technology. On the banking side that includes FinTech, core banking systems, challenger banks, blockchain, social media and online and mobile banking. On the retail side, omnichannel, personalisation, in-store technology, next-generation digital solutions, and mobile and contactless payments. I was most recently Senior Editor at IBS Intelligence, working on their monthly banking technology title, IBS Journal and daily online news service. Prior to that, I was Group Editor, Retail Systems and FStech. Retail Systems is a leading title in the UK retail technology sector, whilst FStech is a major financial services technology publication.

At FStech and Retail Systems, I developed and built up highly successful payments and multi-channel retail conferences and also chaired judging panels for the FStech Awards, Retail Systems Awards and Payments Awards, as well as various roundtables and webinars.

I hold a degree in English Literature, and also a postgraduate diploma in magazine journalism from Highbury College in the UK.
